After another fantastic Summer Terrace Party on Saturday we are back Above Audio tomorrow night with a most exciting line up!!
Having formed at the beginning of 2010 New York New York have become one of the most talked about bands in Brighton, even The Maccabees have been asking after them. With a number of gigs under their belt they have proved time after time that they have got what it takes to provide an entertaining evening.
Patchy began in early 2008, initially as an acoustic two piece. The success of the bands initial EP “This One’s For You” recorded at the iconic Monnow Valley Studios led to a second release that summer, in conjunction with their appearance at Monmouth and Jamstand Festivals. After converting into a three piece the band have continued developing their alternative, distinctive sound, releasing demo’s in prepration for a full release later this year.
Influenced by Stephen King novels, Counciling, Court Hearing’s, and Train Journey’s Ollie is quite the individual! Come check out his beautiful acoustic set in the ambience of our favourite cocktail bar!
