So where were you this Friday afternoon? We were at a newsagents near Churchill Square watching The Perils play a gig amongst loo roll and Haribo!
Some good friends of Brighton Calling had asked us to help them set up a test run for a possible future advert, and knowing the capabilities of Brighton’s Perils we suggested that they were the act to take on this random and typically Brighton project!
At 3pm this afternoon they kicked off an hour long set, playing a number of their tracks to a puzzled and amused crowd, who after hearing the noise from outside wondered into Micheal’s Air Street store to see what it was all about!
The River had proven to be a favourite of advertising duo James and Craig, Darren’s guitar solo and Danny’s vocals sounded unbelievably good in such strange surroundings, proving that they are capable of just about anything! This has got to be their year, after such amazing performances at White Air and The Secret Garden Party festivals last year, I imagine that they will be having quite an amazing summer!
